The gold standard diagnostic test for COVID-19: the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test that requires nasal or throat swab samples.
It is not to be mistaken with the Rapid Antigen Test (RTK) - which requires a blood sample - that the MOH has permitted only for low-risk people looking to get voluntarily tested in private hospitals.
