Stock market crash business halt
Fuel cheaper than mineral water
Cant even buy Hand Sanitise or face masks
COVID-19 outbreak money value upside down

Schools Universities are closed
Shops business are closed
Only essential services are open
COVID-19 outbreak makes the world stop

Patients tremble with positive result
Medical frontliners struggles to serve
Every health worker risk their lives
COVID-19 outbreak many heroes arise

Stay at home be a warrior
Do our parts to flatten the curve
The people the real frontliners
COVID-19 outbreak can be stopped

While at home we think harmony
Husbands learn to shop for family
Yummy food like never before
COVID-19 outbreak we stay at home

Children have classes online
E-learning is for everyone
When its urgent we go Zoom
COVID-19 outbreak build digital competency

We look to God for salvation
Protection for entire mankind
Humble reminder we mere mortals
COVID-19 outbreak we plead to God

Air and water polution no more
As factories stop working
The Green Nature recovering fast
COVID-19 outbreak heals the earth

COVID-19 not a curse of God
COVID-19 not works of devil
But due to human's sins and ignorance
COVID-19 shatters our pride

Little Things

Little Things

By far the most pleasant things in life

Often comes in little packages

Bundled in simplicity novelty

Hidden as gems in the dark

It is not necessary  in the fine things of

Luxurious indulgence

It is often in the little things

That we have taken for granted

So close yet eyes could not see

So near yet ears could not hear

Then one day

The great enlightenment struck

As if we woke up from a deep sleep

Rested from a long journey

In a moment we understood

We can fathom the truths behind

Those little things

These moments are most precious by far

This is one of the first few poems I wrote with the help of the mini Ipad, so handy that I could write anywhere when the inspirations strike. It is a simply reminder of the importance to appreciate the little things we do have in this life and we should treasure.
